I throughly enjoyed it and would listen to it again Unlike some audio books which i can zone in and out of or even partly fall asleep to without it being a great miss to the story. It was able to keep a good almost constant pace throughout where by i wanted to listen to every word. The book was just the right length for me. I liked his voice in the sense it reminded me of the sound of old detective and mystery shows and films. As the story goes on and depending on the characters his voice changes appropriately and with more urgency and volume. His voice more quiet and slow at the start to match the scene of the quiet little town where it’s set. The narrator does an excellent job of building up the atmosphere and the pace as the story goes along.

Don’t be put off if you listen to the sample. There was one part that even gave me the creeps.

I wanted to know what was going on and what was coming next. It had me curious and a little unnerved right from the start just like the characters in the story.
